My PC is PC. Really, it’s actually more politically correct and socially sensitive than I am. On the previous post which I typed in Word prior to pasting into Typepad, it gave me the little squiggly green line of misspelling on the word “working men” as it wanted to point out that it was correctly spelled as “workingmen” – one word, not two. Since I am curious and challenged by computer software and prone to attempts to prove human superiority, I checked out “workingwomen” and found that this is also the recognized form, although “working women” is accepted while “working men” is not.
This is why I find it so much more fun to be unpolitically correct. (Note: The computer doesn’t like “unpolitically correct” either and just for spite, I won’t change it to apolitically, which simply indicates a lack of interest rather than active avoidance.)
