BLOGGING: Links

I’ve spent more time than perhaps I should on blogging lately, but there’s just so much out there that it takes a long, long time to sift through, and as in the internet ads on TV, I may yet reach the end of surfdom.

But please know that most of the links added here to the right have been the result of much work in linking to links, including copying and pasting whole lists into e-mails to myself so that I can check them out without losing them through the paths I’ve taken. Then I’ve tried to link to the most relative page of that particular site, but want to make you aware of the fact that there may be a wealth of information available on other pages of that site. The Great Lettuce Head, The Word Foundry, Story Mania, The Writers Directory, Five Fingers, Jerz’s Literacy Log just to name a few, have so very much more on them than what’s on the opening page I selected as a link.

So dig a little deeper. Then maybe you’ll see why I’m on this freakin’ computer for so many hours of my day.

You have some wonderful resources linked on your site. My mother is a high school and college English teacher (teaching runs in my family… I chose math, though, because I hate to grade essays!!) and I have directed her to your links. Your hard work may end up helping her students and, no doubt, many others!

That’s great! It makes it all worthwhile. And to think that you and I have met because we were both trying to figure out how to use the Trackback feature at the same time. By the way, I do see your mother’s influence on your writing! (Do I Dare Disturb the Universe linked here)
