REALITY?: Nature

There’s a feel of elegance in this New England November morning. Like being in the dressing room in the time before the start of a Paris fashion show. The models are stripped of their finery and stand there naked, quiet, willowy bones without their leaves. Details exposed for close scrutiny and appreciation. The black whorls on birch tree trunks like hidden moles on silky thighs. The maple’s arch of branches mimic graceful lines of bent elbows and knees. Stark contrast of the more subtle tones of nature and the human body. Watch them now and study and bask in the naked beauty. Before they’re all assigned their parts in the Winter Collection—the theme is sparkling white. When that order is complete, they’ll stand again for one brief moment before Spring signals the opening curtain to leave us lost in color once again.
