WRITING: Lyrics
For all you songwriters out there, I’m just going to have to throw some lyrics out at you every now and then. From Waylon Jennings, and the song of the same name as this line:
“Get your tongue out of my mouth
I’m kissing you goodbye.”
You tell me that these simple words don’t tell a whole story in themselves! Man and woman aren’t doing so well, man wants out finally, woman uses her charms (?) to change his mind, but it ain’t gonna work. How much clearer can you get?
