SOFTWARE & TOOLS: For 8 year-olds and me…
Again thanks to Dr. Jerz, I’m imitating him and filing for reference two applications for animation programming that while I doubt he’d need to use, may get me going again on the learning process:
Alice and Scratch are free software programs geared towards the young (or maybe, very old) student that use an easy and interesting (meaning lots of primary colors and cute things) format that starts the new media learner out in easy steps.
I think that some of the heavy duty programs tend to terrify just by their complicated screen directions and often only those within their comfort range will be persuaded to play with them.
Or maybe those who are fearless and carefree enough to just jump in recklessly.
