100 DAYS PROJECT: #41
Lies and Liars
What inspired me this morning was the interaction between a couple when there’s something not quite normal going on. It’s a fairly simple story with a couple of oddities tossed in.
The map here wanted as well to be simple: the current event or conflict, the two characters, some background to flesh out the characters in their own enviroments so that we can speculate on how they’ll get together to discover and resolve the quirks that come naturally along with us all.

Heh—high-heeled books? (History) Sounds like Anne Rice’s pseudonym stuff! On a reasonable note, does he have some kinetic power connected with the lights?

Got it, thank you–Freudian Slip?
Okay so how come Ersinghaus can get away with it and I can’t? All I ask is a little suspension of disbelief. Remember I mentioned Octavio Paz’s My Life With the Wave? It’s still one of my favorite short stories ever. Found it online: http://tinyurl.com/olx8n4

I liked it. Very rich –it’s one of the stories that makes me feel doltish and dumb. It works on so many metaphorical levels, as well. I can’t decide if the relationship is about different ethnicities or drug abuse.

It could be either, or something else. I took it to be a relationship between a man and a woman who happened to be a wave of water.

Take heart; you can see that perhaps she has some powers of her own and I’m sure that you do as well!

I have no powers. Not anymore, anyway.
