Well I may be manic but I guess I’m also pretty smart. Found a copy of the Stylesheet, sidebar, and the main index templates that I must have copied and put into Word for safekeeping. Since the design templates saved in Typepad don’t change automatically (damn good thing, too) with the changes made to a particular weblog’s design, the tweaks are only in one place and I must have copied them when I first set up the weblog.
Smart and…well, I prefer to call it whimsical.
Almost lost me again this morning. I’m trying to add in the Typelist of links to Software which was here before and while I found the module, can’t seem to code it into the sidebar template quite properly.
So today may be a day of what looks like another hissy-fit but in reality is just a technical problem that I’ll be working on.
Again thanks to Dr. Jerz, I’m imitating him and filing for reference two applications for animation programming that while I doubt he’d need to use, may get me going again on the learning process:
Alice and Scratch are free software programs geared towards the young (or maybe, very old) student that use an easy and interesting (meaning lots of primary colors and cute things) format that starts the new media learner out in easy steps.
I think that some of the heavy duty programs tend to terrify just by their complicated screen directions and often only those within their comfort range will be persuaded to play with them.
Or maybe those who are fearless and carefree enough to just jump in recklessly.
Believe I’ve found the template in the Typepad files and will be working from there to reconstruct what took only a second to destroy.
